Retrofit
Replacing outdated control systems with modern CNC equipment can increase productivity and reduce down time.
BOC, ESAB, Messer, Hancock, Shapecut and others are suitable for retrofitting, they can also be fitted with new motorised posts and new solenoid controlled gas systems.
Chassis are held in stock and can be 'swapped' resulting in a down time of less than a day.
Conversion
Larger cantilever machines can be suitable for conversion in to a CNC portal which has the cutting area within its rails, this has the advantage of saving floor space, as a drawing table is not needed.
By utilising three axis rack and pinion drive systems cutting widths of upto 6 metres (dependant on donor machine). Traverse speeds of 10 metres/min can be achieved.
