All our machines include the Techserv PC based CNC controller, designed specifically for profile cutting machine applications. The controller features unrivaled ease of use and superior profiling performance.
The Techserv CNC is a PC based 2.5D shape cutting controller, suitable for gas, plasma, water jet and other applications.
The controller is based on a PC system running Windows 'XP' with an external 8 axis motion controller DSP capable of controlling a wide variety of drive systems, AC, DC or stepper.
The software is designed to be easy to use and learn but with many advanced features such as dynamic repositioning, plasma height sense control, automatic gas pressure adjustment etc.
Systems can be supplied ranging from an OEM software only version to a full CNC housed in a machined aluminium panel.

The control software incorparates a number of plasma torch height control options ranging from the simplest pneumatic roller ball setup to a high definition height sense with plate detect and end of cut lookahead. In all cases the cutting parameters are set automatically including the optimum arc voltage, the initial height and the pierce height.
